Biographies
Maurizio Marsico. Composer and journalist. Studied electronic music composition at Milan's Music Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi." He has made more than 40 albums (counting vinyl and CD's) and has worked together with Rhys Chatham, Anthony Braxton, Steve Piccolo, Alessandro Mendini, Massimo Iosa Ghini and with the authors of comix for the magazine "Frigidaire". He is director of the magazine SERIES, dedicated to the world of television series, as well as being an editorialist and contributor to numerous newspapers and magazines ( EPolis, il Giorno, Case da Abitare, World of Interiors, Ad France, Maxim, Urban).
Mike Ryan. Architect and designer. Graduted from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He studied his final year in Florence, Italy, subsequently moving to Milan to begin work with Ettore Sottsass, later becoming a partner in Sottsass Associati as well as maintaining his personal studio mmRyan. Work experiences range from urban design (Reggio Emilia, Italy); to architecture (Casa Cei, Empoli, Italy); to large-scale interiors (Malpensa airport, Milan, Italy); to interiors (Zibibbo bar, Fukuoka, Japan); to exhibit design (ABET, Bra, Italy); to product design (Alessi, Zeritalia); to graphics. He has also taken part in both personal and group exhibits both in Italy and abroad.
Silvia Massa. Interior and color designer. Studied philosophy at the State University in Milan and at the Sorborne in Paris. For many years she has cultivated an interest in Feng-shui and its possible applications in a Western, contemporary context. She has done many projects for private clients in Italy and abroad: apartments, offices, a night club and a fashion showroom. Hers is the signature on Silviastickers, project line of of wall decorations. Her painted canvasses are monochromatic, matte and sprinkled with glitter. She dreams in technicolor.
Marco Massa. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumental(t)ist. He studies guitar with Franco Cerri. The celebrated Italian pianist Renato Sellani is his long-time mentor. He sings with numerous other musicians including Lee Konitz, Tony Scott, Phil Woods and is an activist, in the role of tenor, in the new-gospel choir group known as TGP. His latest album, "Nelle Migliori Famiglie" ("In the Best of Famlies") has received an acclaimed consensus from the trade press.
